Make sure “Update Alchemy” is selected

You must agree to the license terms if you want to intsall Alchemy

Click “I Agree”

Specify a location for the plugin DLL

On a 64-bit system:

When the plugin is installed to “Program Files”

Click “Next”

This path specifies the location of the Alchemy data files, including presets and samples

The folder may located anywhere, but must be named “Alchemy”

When installed to the same location as the plugin a sub-folder named “Alchemy” must used

On a 64-bit system it is possible to share the data folder between the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the plugin by setting the same data folder on this screen

Click “Next”

Click “Next”

This screen in only displayed during 32-bit setup

Uncheck the RTAS option if you do not use Pro Tools

Click “Next”

A list of files as they are copied to the installation folder is displayed

Any Camel Sounds files found on the desktop or in the setup folder will be automatically unpacked

Any key files found on the desktop or in the setup folder will be moved from the desktop to the data folder

Some users may see a message indicating that a file failed to copy: this may be safely ignored.

Click “Next”

Any Sound Libraries found on the desktop or in the current folder will be listed here. If you do not wish to install these, de-select the entries in the list

Click “Next”

This screen will only be disaplyed if setup cannot locate a key file in the current folder or on the desktop

The folder containing the key files you’ve downloaded should be selected by clicking “Browse”

Note: do not select the destination of the key files, but the foler containing new key files

You may click “Next” to bypass this screen if no key files are required

Click “Next”

Click “Finish”
