Kerry Livgren

Dove Award winning recording artist Kerry Livgren first came to mainstream attention with the progressive-rock band Kansas, and spent 13 years as their primary songwriter, lead guitarist and keyboard player.
Penning such hits as 'Carry On Wayward Son' and 'Dust in the Wind', Kerry propelled the band to worldwide success and critical acclaim. He and the band were recently reunited to compose their acclaimed 2000 release, 'Somewhere to Elsewhere' for Magna Carta records.
Livgren is currently working on his most ambitious musical work yet, a cantata entitled, 'Cantata: The Resurection of Lazarus'. Employing an ensemble cast, this work includes the talents of Phil Keaggy, David Pack, and Mathew Ward.
We asked Kerry for his thoughts on Cameleon 5000:
"There is a plethora of soft-synths out there, but every once in a while a real stand-out comes along. The Cameleon 5000 is one of the best. I (and our other keyboardist Dan Wright) featured the Cameleon 5000 on some of the tracks on our new Proto-Kaw CD."
