Tell us a bit about yourself
I’m a 31 year old German soft egg and spent most of the time music making, scoring for movies and having 2 bands.
What do you like best about CamelSpace and CamelPhat?
Camelspace is one of the 2 best effects for mangling audio I ever had. It was an instant wowowow experience when I first used it, and it’s still a wowow after having used it a lot of times. Its the first plugin I grab whenever I want to hear drastic changes, and the best thing: I can use it on everything - be it beats, vocals, guitars, etc. and, it just doesn’t get boring using it. Also the tweakablity it offers is superb, as well as the interface.
There’s another very important factor: the sound quality itself. Lots of mangling plugs offer quite good abilities, but many of them fail to still deliver good sound quality after mangling. Camelspace simply sounds tiptop!
Camelphat is a top-sounding thingy, and I mostly put it on beats and rhythmical stuff.
What projects have you used Camel Audio stuff on?
On everything I do, actually. Especially Camelspace is a constant friend, be it for scoring jobs or my 2 bands.
What’s the craziest thing you have done with them?
I once inserted Camelspace while I was doing a handstand being naked. (and that’s not an easy thing!)
and anything else you want to say?
I want to say thank you to the Camels, and am happy that I even met you people several times. Its wonderful to know that guys like you bring us musicians such excellent tools. Oh, and make more compliments to your friends!
