Danny Elfman is a Grammy-winning, Emmy-winning and Oscar-nominated composer whose film credits include 'Beetlejuice', 'Batman' and 'Edward Scissorhands' among many others. And if that weren't enough, he wrote the theme for The Simpsons too!

He's one of only a handful to have made the transition from self-taught rock musician (as frontman with Oingo Boingo) to respected orchestral score composer. Danny's recent film scores include 'Charlotte's Web', and the upcoming 'Meet The Robinsons' from Disney pictures. Also in the works is 'The Kingdom' directed by Peter Berg.

We asked him about the role Camel Audio software has played in his recent work.

"Of all the plugins I have on my recently-upgraded workstation, CamelPhat and CamelSpace are the most frequently used. On a synth score I recently finished, I used them both on almost every cue. Quite simply, they do what they do in a very unique way and more importantly...they're fun!"
